Need help to solve car problem. Have I bought a Lemon?!?!
« on: November 06, 2008, 02:02:12 PM »
Anyone aware which tan chong servicing center in Singapore (Beside the one in UBI) has the required skill to fix my sunroof rattling problem? (I need a sunroof specialist to help me)

My latio is only 1yr and 2 months old.

I sent in my car 3 times to Ubi already to complain abt the sunroof rattling....2 days ago was the 3rd time. Yet again, problem not solved.

Complain, bang table, write email, talk nice nice to them etc etc all no use..they simply do lip service. I supposed their technical staff only know the basic car routine servicing stuff. They doesnt seems to be able to fix any other problems related to the car.

Eg. Told them during my servicing one of my power window seems unable to shut totally...Car returned to me, problem still there...Fed up liao....Nissan car? Pui. Surely my 1st and last time buying nissan car for sure. Made in Japan??? so what? Rubbish. Its just as equally UNreliable.

Pai seh...enough of my complaining..  ;D

Ok back to topic...anyone can help on this sunroof issue? Rattle and rattle till I scared it might just drop down on my head 1 fine day.

All service centre react differently to problem.

You might want to try other TCM workshop cos others might have the solution for you.

Try Toa Payoh ba cos personally for all my Nissan history, they are the only TCM workshop I go back to as they are able to solve all my problems.

It also boils down to the Servisor Advisor who attended to you.

Some are more enthusiastic, while some have a very lax attitude.

I have read about good and bad remarks about each service centre.

Please share with us the name of the Servisor Advisor and the branch he is from, if his service deserves a pat on the back.

I recommend u to try BT. Look for workshop manager Mr Tan Soon Lai. He have solved my dashboard rattling which other workshop cannot solve for 2yrs and change all 4 power window motor assy which should be same problem as yours. he will either test drive to find the root of the noise or assign someone to test with you....tell him Jonathan blue latio sport and he should remember bcos i bug him for 1yr....

** there were a few times they gave me a courtesy car while trying to solve the problem cos I got to leave the car there for 2 days....come to my office to pickup my car somemore...but of course case to case lah......

Sorry OT abit, so what made you switch from your CS3 I presume to Latio ? Why not try the EX since you believe Mitsubishi is problem free. Just curious to ask.

haha i think you got me wrong. i'm implying that C&C has worse service centre as i heard many horror stories from the lancer forum. and i'm glad i didn't have to go thru that. i think they got problem with technicians lack of knowledge.

otherwise, cos i find latio is la chio...
