Auto Saver and Riverview are good alternatives to Tan Chong with at least  30% savings!

Gee.. I am going for my 100K servicing coming weekend at Autosavers. This threat remind me of a potential cost (in additional to the 100K servicing package).

My FC has lots of room for improvement (+-11Km/litre) I wonder whether it is the sparks plug that need to be renewed..

Yap, will update on the FC after i changed.

Called TC Ubi on the prices of the plugs. It cost $42.00/plug with about $40 of labout charge (to be confirmed)
That will be $208.00. The guy sating it will take about 45-60min. Hmm.. prices not far from Autosavers'

Ah, installed at Autosavers since i was servicing my ride there last Friday. Monitoring FC with another 2 tanks before reporting changes here

Hi bro iagree, you seems pretty pro-TCM?  Maybe it is me. But the TCM package doesnt cover everything wor. Didnt opt for that as mine is a 3 year old CVT Latio Sports with 80K milleague. Did some calculations and find it cheaper with non-TCM workshops IF one doesnt take care of their ride. Thanks anyway :)

hi bro, do you happen to know how much is it if I just change spark plugs at autosavers? I am under TCM NPMP, but I think they will not change it for me foc as my NPMP will not cover till 100km. So considering changing spark plugs outside, then go back TCM finish my NPMP contract.

hi ben

ohhh, let us know ur fc after u serviced at autosaver ya.

ooo, not really pro-tcm...

mine is oct2007 latio. jan2009 now my mileage is close to 38000km liao. 1 year car clock this mileage? geng or not?
so, i prefer to let tcm pao everything4me, ask them to chk this n that. i feel more comfortable to service by tcm (after i tried autosaver & outside workshop in msia).

tcm - geng! go for it. npmp - worthwhile.

hi dsrio,

oh. ur npmp when to end?
what is ur mileage now? finish ur npmp contract?
i thk can ask tcm to chg for u rite? npmp not cover sparkplug?

guys, question, if our car is abit bo lat, can it be bcoz of the sparkplug? if we chg to a better one? more power?

Ying, ooo, ya hor, can request to take back the part ya.... last wk i forgot to ask tcm to give me back the Wiper Blade (i chg DIY the silicon, which can last for 2yrs.... i used for few wks oni b4 i went tcm to service my 40000km with npmp), sayang lah.
guys, MUST remember to ask TCM Or AS or any Workshop that u service ur car out there to TAKE BACK THE old PARTS...
