How do your know when is time to change your rubber shoe??
NSman:
As above,
How do you judge or estimate when to change your tyres?? change every 2 years?? or use until the thread wear off?? some hard compount tyre are lasting, even use for 20 months, the thread are still deep... or change it when you feel than the tyre is giving way when making a corner??

bro sometimes its not only abt the thread wear, the rubber compound will vulcanise after some time. Diff to give u an exact timing coz diff tyre diff grade of rubber compound.. just check if the rubber start to harden. tyre giving way can be due to many reasons, maybe the tyre tat u r on requires warming up etc.
so its checking for both the rubber compound integrity and threadwear. just my 2cts worth dont quote me if i am wrong wahahhaah

Thanks for the input.
I believe my tyre is getting harden, as my thread is still deep. FYI, mine is YOKO A.Drive R1, used for more than 2 yrs liao :P
But how do we determine the tyre is getting too hard? by using thumb to press on the rubber or finger nails?
