hi everyone,
would like some advice from more experienced people here since it's the first time i'm getting a car..
as per subject, would like to know if using the in-house insurance by the deaer (in this case AIG) compulsory?
am asking cos have been told by some friends that it is compulsory..
but i think it is counter-intuitive as TCM is currently offering a $500 rebate off the car price if i get the insurance..so if it is compulsory, what for give rebate right?
i realised AIG is really expensive as i was quoted insurance of S$3.9K++ with excess of S$1K for suzuki swift sport (i'm 27 yrs old and has 6 months driving experience)..so am quite sure for latio sport will not be that much diff...so if the difference between other insurance companies vs AIG is more than S$500, then it makes sense for me to switch..
