It seems that majority of them are 'liars' then.
2 of my colleagues were also keen in Latio at that time. We called several SEs from the different branches to check and all said the same thing, that Facelift Latio will cost at least $10,000 more than pre facelift.
But then I suppose that was the direction Tan Chong Management gave them. So actually can't blame the SEs. And as sales people, they would be desperate to hit their quota, so they would go all out to close as many deals as they could.
I heard that there is change of management inside Tan Chong and it's a little messy inside there.

During the time I collecting my car, my SE told me that FL model will be in soon and it going to be a 3-5K price diff then the Fre-FL and that was during month of Mar 08.

My SE told me the new import stock that going to come from Japan will have a increase of S$4k.

Anyway, most SE is still quite truthful in the sense that, if they lie, what is good for them, bottomline is this is their rice bowl.

I was told about the $10,000 price difference in May 08.
Maybe they were trying hard to clear YOM2007 stocks, and wanted to entice buyers to commit to YOM2007 stocks.
