What is "safc 2" and "AFR"?

Is there a way to program HR15DE into lean burn instead of stoichiometric? Does AFR refer to air-fuel-ratio? Are there any implications for the catalytic converter?

i thought the only way to lean out the engine is a piggyback or get an ecu remap?
