Hmm i ask the same qn to the SE at TCM Ubi. He never mention about the voiding of warranty. Why shld warranty be void when u just add pieces of rubber/silicon?? The one i spoke to simply tell me that it is not needed for the Latio as the backside is already high so not likely will experience hitting the undercarriage. It is the Slyphy that requires the stiffeners.

He also said that so many people complain about this problem. It is a standard feature of japanese car according to him. because japanese go for ride comfort hence the cars are lower and more springy.

Then the Autobac Ubi mechanic told me that the stiffeners are good as it protects the suspension from damage due to excessive crossing of humps. So between ride comfort, and height of backside and suspension protection, one has to choose either and not both.

How the hell the SE say this will void the warranty, it like a dampener for your suspensions. It suppose to help you n yr car to cushion during humps n uneven when u on the road.
