Any experience with spring stiffeners ?
Ying:
that's right. just look at the damper as part of the spring.

Why shld warranty be void when u just add pieces of rubber/silicon?? The one i spoke to simply tell me that it is not needed for the Latio as the backside is already high so not likely will experience hitting the undercarriage. It is the Slyphy that requires the stiffeners.
He also said that so many people complain about this problem. It is a standard feature of japanese car according to him. because japanese go for ride comfort hence the cars are lower and more springy.
Then the Autobac Ubi mechanic told me that the stiffeners are good as it protects the suspension from damage due to excessive crossing of humps. So between ride comfort, and height of backside and suspension protection, one has to choose either and not both.

The SE just mentioned it may void the warranty by the manufacturer and not by TCM. Although our Latio seem high, but the suspension is too soft, you never encounter kena your tow hook or maybe scratch your tip of your exhaust during reverse parking before when you ferry passengers behind.
