Scratched bumper repair cost?

Hi all, recently I scratched another car while doing parallel parking.  :(

The owner wasn't there, so I left a note and took a picture, because I've heard stories of how people repair a lot of stuff at once and pass all the cost to the unlucky fellow.

So around how much does this take to repair? In case I kena cheated!

tink saw some dented there. may cost $150-$200 repair n spray half of the bumper

If no dents, can get re-spray and touch up for less than $100.

i tot normally people will 'run away' first? u still put a Note to the owner for him to contact u to claim from u?

I had a head on scratch before while driving a rental car and bong a SSangYong monster. scratch quite deep. mine toyota altis head lamp also kena scratch but not broken, repair cost total is $150. $90 for SSangYong, $50 for mine. every done swee swee in half day.

Make sure u prepare a statement for both parties to sign to not further pursue. also inform your insurance.

 :thumbsup: to you bro sol, lets hope the owner of the car will also be as honest as you and just claim the respraying cost, i suppose shld be less than $100, but if he  he goes back to authorise agents, will be more expensive.

Thanks for all the reply guys. Nope, he/she hasn't called me yet, maybe lazy to go fix(i hope :bleh:).

At first after I scratched I wanted to siam, but then think a while, like not very nice. 2009 le, time to be a better person hehe.

Hi SoL, ya loh...hope to hv better 2009 yr ahead, me...most probably will receive summon soon as speed 80 ~ 90+ at KPE on 1 Jan 2009. Look like to spend some $$$ to avoid other bad luck in yr 2009. Wish u luck too.

Hi Bro Jazz, Thanks for yr wish :pray:..heard my friend also just received warning but not on express way lei (on normal road, speed at 75km/h with speed limit at 60km/h)...Hope for the best then.THANKS.
