40000km Service with NPMP

Sign up NPMP, did full servicing, and change 4 tyre.

Surprising - TCM carried Falken ZE912 tyre at $80 per piece (185/65R15)

After servicing and change of tyre

I observed the following :

a) Steering wheel feels extremely light as compare with before servicing - maybe something to do with belting or hydrauli ??

b) Less noise while driving - got something to do with the tyre

b) Engine less noisy and more power when ram accelerator. However, pick up from stop position become slower, before serving and change of tyre, my latio can easily accelerate from stop @ 1800rpm. Now seems to have to push slightly beyond 2K RMP before it really starts to roll.

clarence:
a) Steering feels lighter is likely due to new tyres.

c) Pick up slower? Did you check the tyre pressure?

hammer99:
Front = 240
Back = 220

Pressure same for old and new tyre

kraziesg:
At what speed you encountered the light steering feels?

From stationary to motion.
At any speed it feels lighter than before.

It is obvious when manuipulating in MSCP.

The worst is the pick up speed, deteroriate after servicing, now has to step harder on the accelerator from stationary before the wheel starts rolling. Before servicing, light steping (RPM between 1600 to 1800, car can pick up speed easily at stationary).

Any advise, is it because of the new tyre ? Or becos of the fastflo engine oil ?

Thanks
