So, expect the same problems with the suspension, which will 'sag' and need replacement every now and then, as what I notice from friends and relatives driving the old Altis. I think the JDM Axio, while having an uglier interior, is still the better engineered car with better FC too.

I'm actually quite surprise that the suspension system of the altis cmi, cause my previous pre FL vios had one of the best suspension that I felt. In fact, one of the workshop guy thought that I had changed it. I know that toyota is also well known for its suspension.

Probably, toyota is making out of more money from us, while the quality keeps droping. I'm glad that I did not 'upgrade' to altis while shopping for my next car. My friend's altis also looks and feels quite lok after only 2 years.

Morning tao,

Agree with you regarding the chassic part, it may due to tomyum assembly plus material manufactured, I also heard of chassic body fall apart or corrosion. But I have to agree with Vortex regarding the suspension, as far as I know, Toyota has or 1 of the best suspension for their cars.

Agree with vortex and jazz, my pre FL vios suspension feels better than my current Latio.

For legroom and spaciousness, I think the JDM Toyota Allion is even better than Latio.  It is 1.5L and advertised FC 18 km/l.  The only disadvantage is the high price.  Its 10k more expensive than the Latio.  Latio is comparable in many areas, except maybe the FC, that's why I choose the Latio in the end.

On a side note, I was actually checking out the Axio and the SE suggested checking out the Allion. I was blown away by how much better it is compared to the Axio.
