Timing belt or timing chain?

Timing chain will need to change, but at a much longer mileage than timing belt.  The chain will give tell tale warning signs when change is needed.  Unlike timing belt just snap without warning.

What kind of tell tale signs? Any example?

About a month ago, my car will have a chi chi sound after cranking, went back to TCM, they just tighten my timing chain plus lubricant and the problem solved.

anyone knows if the timing chain is assessible by user? i wana lubricate it...

It's inside the engine and I think it's quite well lubricated.
