Timing belt or timing chain?

Timing chain is well lubricated by engine oil. 
There should be a spring tensioner that will maintain the chain's tension.  I wonder....  :confused1:

A common tell tale sign is the chain noise for chains that are beyond tightening or adjustment.

there's no need to change the timing chain,unless u never change ur engine oil ,late change or never change of engine oil will cause the oil to turn into sluge,this will block the oil channel and cause the engine moving parts to burn up.what they change for you is the drive belt (alternaor,air con compressor and the water pump)only 1pc to drive all three components.

ONLY DRIVE BELT CAN BE LUBRICATED NOT TIMING CHAIN ;)
