not sure if its for latio .. my friend driving lancer and said he saw alutec struts bar selling $170 at autobacs ..

Are they selling the front or the rear strut bar?

i didn't see it myself .. i guess should be front ba ..
i think autobacs should be selling at least the front struts ba .. if not both front and back ..

Want to buy a front sturt bar for my latio sports. Any shops selling cheaper than Autobacs? Is it the same type "Alutec" brand(Pardon my spelling mistake)?

that time i got alutec front strut bar from autobacs has 20% discount so paid around $150. normal price at around $180

got, beside alutec, UR bar is another choice.

not much sturt bar made for latio, not sure summit or other brand have it, cusco may have but ex

could be due to weight cos is made of steel.  Alutec is lighter . made of aluminium weight 1.5kg only . so fc will not affected

I look for material used and design, not the brand. Weight diff is too small to make a difference, go toilet first and you offset the weight difference.

on design:
I go for single piece, no moving part.
Alu have weaker welding strenght, may be that's why they use 2 pieces design.
