normally when parking, do u depress the leg brake all the way down or juz halfway?
wah all the way down means later when u depress again to bring it up, its very hard. haha. usually jus push it and hear about 3 clicks haha!
that is due to the wearing down of the brake pads
Err, isn't the parking brake a seperate brake pad? On most cars its a smaller pad, activated by wire tension instead of fluids. Not too sure on Latio, you may be right!
On level ground, just one click will do, if slope, 2 clicks. SO far, 2 clicks are sufficient for me before i put the gear to 'P'.
I think we're talking about the parking brake. It won't wear out unless you drive off with it~!
2 clicks if okay until you start throwing in suitcases and stuff and the car rolls down the slope with the weight. Heheh never happened before, just saying, but why not push down more? I use around 4 clicks on slopes. Better to be safe then sorry!
I would think it works like the handbrake. u pull it too hard often, it will become loose. Then u will find that it does not hold anymore when u really need it on a real steep slope! So usually i just depress about enough. It really steep slope, i think maybe 3 clicks.
u mean when parkin foot brake not release ther would be warnin sound to alert the driver?
ya lor..never heard of alarm when I drove with brake on lei?
