How to see that the temp is 43deg? Yours is FL? If FL, then there should be a button labelled as AMB....and is referring to ambient temp which is the outside temp...i dun think the a/c control shows the temp inside the car....for pre-FL, the temp on the control always show the temp set by you.....
If you r not part of a solution, don't be part of the problem...

There is nothing wrong with the blowing direction.  Your aircon must be set at auto, when in auto mode, the aircon sensors inside the car will try to achieve the temp that you had set, and same time the different sensors inside the car will direct the air flow to blow at different places, to achieve maximum comfort for the passengers in the shortest possible time.  This feature is very useful in countries with four seasons, where hot/cold air blowing thru ducts at the deskboard or feets, not only directly at passengers.

Your aircon will automatically change the air flow back to directing at passengers once it reach certain temp.  You can deactivate this feature by turning to manual.  In maunal mode, the air flow will not slow down even the aircon has reached the temp you had set.

I agreed the temp sensor for outside is not accurate.  I have the same problem.  I believe is the placement of the sensor, must be too near to the heat source - engine bay, exhaust, facing the road surface or even the car metal body that indirectly transfer the heat to the sensor.  Need to talk to TCM to understand where the sensor is located to conclude whether the sensor is faulty.

When back to TCM last weekend and they couldnt find any problem with the AC thus they cheated by changing my setting to -3 degrees of the setting display.  :out: This is so silly. So now I set at 27 degrees but occassionaly still not getting cold air... I give up on going back to TCM.

However, did notice that I can detect exhaust and external smell.... sianz have to go back to TCM again.

just collected my car jus 3 weeks ago...

I 2 noticed that all exhaust and external smell can be detected.... if you go to switch on the external air button...lagi worse = like open window....not sure if that is normal for a nissan.

It is possible...as your car can get heated up to a very high temp after a long day parking under the hot sun....and the sensor which is on the car is getting the same amt of heat the whole day might show a higher than outside temp....u need to drive off for about 5-10mins before checking the AMB temp again...and it will be more accurate....

i never have this problem. i always set to manual.
I like my temp to stay as what i set. if not cold enough, i set fan speed higher.
no smell at all unless i open vent which not advisable in local as pollution and smell of petrol, diesel from taxi can seap in.
