No power loss for RON 92
capcorn:
Hi people,
After reading some posts in the forum abt pumping RON92, I decided to experiment it with my latio.
I used to pump RON 95 (caltex) and occasionally Platinum to give my engine a treat.
I pumped RON92 over the weekend and I feel that there is no difference at all in power between 92 and 95.
No power loss... Latio has no power to begin with, so with 95 or 92, my pickup and going up slope is still equally slow (sad)...
Going to do a full tank 92 and test the FC...

I have also tried RON 92. Mine is the CVT type. have tried all th different brands of 92 and there will be some power loss. You will need at least 3 tanks to see the difference. Mileage wise is affected. 95 Esso give me the best mileage and power.

Result will only come out after you finish your 3rd full tank.
I tried before Ron92 but my car just feel so powerless after the 3rd tank when i resume ron95 I can feel the power back after the 2nd tank.
Btw, Latio ain't that bad on it power nor it pickup...
