Footrest area gets dirty
wytan:
I noticed the Latio footrest area for your left foot is not the plastic kind unlike most other cars, but the cloth kind that follows the car interior color. The original floor mat doesn't cover the footrest area either.
My question is how to remove all the black stains (my car interior is the beige one) that will appear over time when you rest your left foot on the footrest? Lagi worse if you just step into the car during heavy rain, the bottom of your shoes sure wet one. If I send my car for those regular car interior cleaning, will they be able to remove such stains?
I've resorted to putting a piece of rag at the footrest area for the time being. :glare:

I notice that too. Mine also beigh interior. I think can use those fabric cleaner or upholstery cleaner, spray on it then wipe or brush the area a few times, should help... but i haven try... going to try this weekend.
rongshu:
I bought the 3M customised carmat which covers the footrest area.
if you cannot remove the stain, may just buy the 3M carmat to cover it up.

hahaa...same here ;)

I think have to be very careful when using 3M car mat because small leaves and sands trapped inside easily and so is food particles. I experienced before, ants all over, to make things worse, the 3M car mat is black colour also. Horrifying experience. :crying:
Since then, i say good buy to 3M.
