Which engine oil will u think is better
totallypatrick:
Engine oil makes the car run smoother lah. Not more powerful. I've used Amsoil before and engine sounds very rough. Now I'm on KIC and it's ultra smooth and quiet even when rev hard.

Hi bro, agree with you on the amsoil oil, engine sounds rough after about 6K. Thinking of trying the SSO series amsoil if can't find better ones. What is the KIC oil, do they have the 0W30 or 5W30 type ? Can share how much and where to get ?

there is a inclination that would mean Amsoil is a cheap and lousy oil same class as fasflo

I rather spend $29.90 to get Carlube and change them at 5,000 interval, than to spend over $100 for Mobil 1 and change them at 10,000km interval (for fully synthetic).
Fresh oil is always best for car.

I second that..used to use carlube 29.90 last time, feel no difference from Shell Helix or Fastflo so definitely value for money.
Except the remaining 1litre or so always wasted, dunno where to keep, end up throw away :(

you are not wrong to think that way and absolutely make sense if you only drive the for point A to point B in singapore.. but for someone who drive up north frequently and enjoy revving high rpm and high speed, carlube is not a good choice for that group of driver....
so, the bottom line is there is no "better" engine oil in such case because it's relative and depends on driver's style and usage...... as long it meet ones expectation, that particular engine oil is better... but of cause if the discussion is about which engine oil is better in terms of specs on paper, i would say amsoil from the list above but that doesn't mean i will go for it....... :)
