Toyo Teo Plus

<< < (3/3)

Jazz:
Based on my take.

Michelin PP2 current on my ride and BS RE001 on my friend ride, feedback based on both my friend and mine.

PP2 vs RE001

Price: RE001
Dry: RE001
Wet: PP2
Noise: PP2
Handling: Both as we not into track
Lifespan: PP2 threadwear better
Comfort: PP2

May try Goodyear RS-02 next or F1 Asy, wanted to try Toyo T1R before getting my PP2 but advise against the noise and performance drop after 10K mileage. I heard review that Kumho KU31 not bad, cheap and good.

Hey!!

I've changed my tyres last week to Yokohama Aspec DNA dB. They are real quiet and smooth, but grippy too! It's not as horrendous as I had "braced" myself before deciding to try the DNA Dbs....
Cos i drove on the old aspec Db before and I aquaplaned at high speeds (that was a W211 E200 Kompressor)
But this DNA Db? The grip is definitely sufficient even in heavy torrential downpour. Tried and Tested as I was caught in a downpour on Friday afternoon around the city area. Was doing up to 100km/h on PIE, and the tyres were reasonably grippy in the rain for its silence. =)))  very happy with my decision to try the new DNA Db, just like what other bros have said on sgcarforums, you never know until you try it... cos the old aspec really sucked. This one's different. . . But I hope that it'll continue to be underrated so I can get it cheap! hehehe

Cheers
