Hi and thanks for the replies! =)))
I've read through the forums and the recommendations are always Hankooks... lol.. just wondering: before you guys arrived at this unanimous vote for Hankook, have you tried other brands? The rubber on V8 feels hard (I tried pinching it the last time at MM08) so I wonder how quiet can it get? Cos I've never been on it before so quite worried that it might not suit my requirements. How about comparing the Hankook V8 vs Bridgestone Turanza GR-80 and MXV8 because I've been on these tyres before.
I really hate noise. lol... I've soundproofed my own car myself by ripping out the doors and pasting superlon sheets along the doors & beneath the carpets...(DIY lor..)

Noise is much more important to me and grip less important, but i require more grip than the Yokohama DNA dB ES501 (for safety reasons) and willing to trade-off a little additional noise compared to DNA dB. So does that mean V2/V8 is out of the picture already?
I drive on h'way 90% of the time and keep a huge safety distance... lol
That's why I need good FC from the tyre...

some semi slick tires are really soft, press ur fingernails and u will feel how soft they are! But are they quiet? No....
thread pattern and compound used plays an important part in noise production my friend.
Toalson:
Well, I had tried V2, CPC2 and short time with PP2 and a even shorter time now with Adrenalin.
CPC2 & V2
Grip - CPC2 more assuring
Noise equal
Comfort CPC2 more comfortable than V2
Above based on previous ride
PP2 & Adrenalin
Grip - Adrenalin
Noise - Adrenalin
Comfort - more or less equal
Based on current ride
Comparing all together
Grip - Adrenalin
Noise - Adrenalin & CPC2 same better than the other 2
Comfort - Adrenalin & CPC2 same better than the other 2
That's opinion

Thanks for all your replies. CPC2 sounds expensive.. lol
I'll consider them after reading more reviews... haha.. as for tyre size increase, will there be a noticeable drop in FC? 185/65R15 to 195/60R15 - Apart from aesthetic purpose, what else do i get? Better grip?
=)
