Steering veered to left
« on: May 21, 2009, 09:15:08 PM »
Does anyone have similar problem with Nissan steering? My last sunny have this problem, now latio also. Got to hold the steering wheel quite tightly, especially when driving at expressway or NSHW.

I know our roads are slightly tilted to the left to drain rainwater. But it seems too much to take.

Could also be due to wheel alignment.

Agree. Try wheel alignment first...only do center your steeling wheel if problem still occurs after the wheel alignment.

If you don't mind, can wait until servicing for wheel alignment. I had it done at Autosavers with 30k servicing. They didn't charge me IIRC.

About 7000 km more to next servicing. Is there any good places to do wheel alignment that really solves the problem?

My last sunny did wheel balancing, alignment many times at different places. Problem still there. It's kinda irritating and tiring to hold the steering when traveling at high speed.

I think I'll do wheel alignment first before centralized steering wheel at TCM.
