Headlight indicator on dashboard

<< < (3/6) > >>

rongshu:
How about other brands like toyota, honda?  do they have this headlight indicator?

What I conclude is that the nissan engineers think once we switch on headlight, the driver should see the light on the road already.  But the fact is Singapore road at night is so bright and latio's headlight so weak.

Ying:
can look at reflections from car in front, singapore got so many traffic light for you to stop and check.

Silver:
there is indicator on the headlight and turn signal switch
just make sure that it is turned all the way forward

rayace168:
Always switch off after parking and switch on by turning 1 click.
Sure on when dark.

ultimately, always practice good habit and dun get lazy.

rongshu:
Just imagine you drive for half an hour on high way and only realise your headlight is not on when almost reaching destination.

I always switch to off position after parking, and switch to auto in MSCP after starting engine. I have no problem with that. The problem is you can accidently switch to pole lights only. If you notice it is very hard to look down to check the signal switch below the steering wheels especially the car is moving. Therefore a simple headlight indicator will let you know whether the headlight is on.

If anyone try to check the physical signal switch position during moving, you will know how hard it is because the switch can be blocked by the steering wheel.
