BTW, how you got this problem before. Do you repair it or leave it?

While I was driving an old car years ago, I was in the same situation as you. I DIY by using a hair drier to heat up the bumper to soften it, and then inserted my other hand behind the bumper from below and "pushed" it back to shape.

Not a perfect job but it was an old car anyway, so it did not bother me.

So you didn't claim you own insurance ? You dun find it more worth to claim ? Unless you got 50% NCD.

What is your car no ? Better siam far far, so much injuries  :devil2:

It is not worth to make an insurance claim for such minor repairs that would cost approximately $200, even if your NCD is 0%.

Think about the excess (usually minimum $500) that you would have to pay. Think about the higher premiums when you renew your insurance.

And if you tell the workshop that you are making an insurance claim, they would mark up the price.

Workshops have 2 different price lists :

1 for insurance claims which is inflated pricing
1 for individual private settlement by car owner which is always cheaper.

just:
Bumper are make of fiberglass or plastic can easily push back .i managed to push out my dumper dent. why dont you try to push out the dent from behind. they should easily pop back too shape if it is not a serious knock. give a try after all no harm doing it.

Thanks all for the response. I suddenly remembered the workshop at Bukit Merah Lane where I used to send my ex Toyota Corona to many years ago. So I sent my car there at 11.00am this morning. I called the boss at 2.00pm and was told that the repair has been done. So I went down to collect. When I asked how much I had to pay him, I literally got a 'shock' when he said $30. Wa, so cheap ar! He told me that they had tried to polished off all the paint marks and scratches the best they could. Of course there are still many fine scratch marks left but they are not too noticeable so no need to respray. I was very satisfied with the repair and even more so with the price. $30 nia leh, where to find?! I was mentally prepared to pay $100~$200 for my silly mistake of banging into the metal pole somemore. Wa, happy like F***! :yehyeh:
