car shaft spolit. under warranty by TCM?
kennytoh:
Hi, does anyone encounter "kok kok" sound when full turning of steering wheel during reversing?
ask a few of my frzs to sit in n all said it might be the car shaft spolit.
n the sound will get louder as time go if i dun repair it
Is it under warranty by TCM? my car is only 9 mths old.
heard the replacement costs is very high
n my frz said normally if i inform the techician during servicing, they will just spray oil to remove that sound temporary (which doesnt solve the problem)

i having the same problem when down tcm servicing told them, they change for me free under warranty :(but now the problem is back. :(
idiotboi89:
is it the steering coupling that was supposed to be very common for latio? .. for me used to have until like gone liaoz.. didnt bother to go back change last time as i read in the forum that someone said it might come back .. and it pose no serious issue.. i might be wrong though.. =)
pmet:
Very common. I just changed mine 4mths back, tested no sound but now the sound is back. The mechanics know if you tell them steering coupling. Think they close one eye also can change for u liao.
Novellus Legends:
I heard they just do greasing instead of replacement nowadays thus explains the reoccurence.
