Complain the tok tok sound to TCM but all they did is to tighten and grease. Sound a little quieter but after 3 weeks, its back again. The SA advice was not to turn the wheel too fast when the car is stationary, how true :confused1:

Went back to TCM and they quote $410 to replace as mine is 4yrs old. After reading up here, I left it as it is as the SA say that there is no safety issue with it.

I got the same problem with a 2yr old latio, bought 2nd hand. Went for my 50k servicing, take up NPMP, complain about problem and service record show steering coupling changed. Been few weeks and no sound.

1 thing strange is that my steering is rather heavy compared to other latio and steering will veer to left before servicing. After the servicing, steering is much lighter and left veer problem solved. Wonder if it has anything to do with it.

pchmj: I experienced the same thing as u, when the car is about to be due for servicin can feel steerin heavy & when drivin free hand the car tends to veer left. But after servicin everytin is back to normal...

Oh, do you have the steering coupling changed? Seems like common problem and glad that TCM solve it, pleased with their service. :)
