Need help with my FC
tchekchuan:
I used to pump Caltex Ron95 and change to Caltex Ron92 once Caltex reinstate it.
TO me, other than draggy engine, the FC doesnt make any difference. I averagely able to hit 13.4 - 14km per litre.

8000 is premium than 5000 but getting FC of 12km/l while 5000 can gave him min 12.5km/l. So does he meant higher grade petrol = poorer FC ? Lower FC mean better FC.
Many drivers confused this FC term.

i believe for FC discussion >> Just stick to the math >> FC = Total Dist travelled/ Total fuel used..
dont look at the "feel" of ur driving
Sometimes ron92 give better FC as compare to ron95... (although ron95 or 98 might have better power)
for me>>>
ron 92 and 95 >> FC is quite close >> 11km/l to 12km/l
overall not much difference so might as well wack 92>> save $$
but once a month i will wack ron 98/95 for a tank

Yes! what i meant is 98 = lower mileage.
95 = higher mileage.
This only in my point of view and experiance only.
May be due to the higer grade.
Better grade = better power = burn more fuel.
There alway a pro and con in every thing.
No such thing as high power car with good fc.
Anyway just enjoy our latio

O.K, I not arguing but you are confusing with your FC term.
From what I interpret you are trying to say higher grade of petrol = poorer FC due to 98 give you lower mileage while 95 provides you more mileage right ? And truly understand this is based on your own observation.
What I trying to correct you your previous message is that you stated higher grade petrol = lower FC which is directly opposite or contradict of what your message is.
