« on: September 25, 2009, 11:17:03 AM »
Dear all,

Went to TCM yesteday as the work done as follows:

50k svc package: $187
top up $4 to opt for Shogun fully sync oil (0w-40), was told that given my car age (Dec 06), not suitable to use 0w-30.
change fan belt: $93 incl parts n labour
Total damage: $284

Complain abt the following:

Steering not centre: done foc - centralised steering wheel
Wind like noise in cabin when accelerating from rest: done foc but still hear a bit.. will bug them again b4 warranty ends
Squeaky sound when starting engine: done - replace fan belt
Loud noise when switching on A/C: not done.. will bug them again b4 warranty ends
A/C not cold: done foc - Reset A/C
Engine vibrate due to low rpm: done foc - Retune engine with Nissan Consult II
Fuel guage inaccurate: done foc - Renew fuel float switch.

I wish to ask any members here do face the same problem as me and did TCM solve their problems?

Thanks

You will confirm know it.

When you pump full, it remains full for a damn bloody long time... then after that the gauge will suddenly plunge down from full to 3/4 within ~10-15km of drive.

i heard of some mods u can press a custom-made button (must be hidden somewhere in ur car) to make your gauge jump to 3/4 tank even though its near empty.

That's what I mentioned previously, but was bombarded by a forumer.

For Singapore's hot and humid weather, and frequent stop start driving and short trips, a '40' rating engine oil provides better overall protection. '30' is too thin.

yup is foc provided.....

u do a service with them.
all along my car serviced by autosaver since 20k. this year around 42k, i complain abt steering coupling, then TCM told me if i dun go back for service they will void warranty but they still change the steering coupling for me at that time

so at 50k, i went back for service and "complain" abt many things lor. will go to them again before my warranty ends in DEC.
