big trouble with FC

<< < (9/19) > >>

rocket:
Road Condition plays important role in FC.

Last time, full tank at JB, all the way to Terengganu via eastcost route 3, speed around 100 km/h, with few stops, when I reached there, 700km+,  still not light up, it works out FC >19km/L. :yehyeh:

But back to Singapore, FC always 11-12km/L.... :crycry:

hmm.. last sunday.. I drive from JB --> Vivocity --> JB... maintain within 1500rpm - 2000rpm... speed within 80-100km/h... I break my own record. I hit 16.73km/l with RON97... :D

My past experience with Nissan Sunny was like, when freshly serviced, the FC is quite good. Or rather OK.
Then after crossing 5k-6k mark, the FC will be getting worse. Up to about 9+km/l when near 10k.
Is this problem only for Sunny? or is it the Fastflo engine oil?
Does Latio behave this way as well?

IMO all cars FC will deterioriate as it is approaching the servicing due date. It is just a matter on how much.
Fastflo engine oil will affect FC also has it is using a thicker oil compared to you using your own preferred oil.

From my experience with Latio so far, your right foot and tire pressure has a larger impact on FC.

My 2 cents!

I change from Sunny to Latio. Drive Sunny for 3 years, FC gets worse as car age, whether just service or not. In NSHW not that bad, but SG roads, really can kpkb about petrol. Now bought a 2yr old latio, FC at least 11.8 km/l. Both cars use engine oil from TC. Does not notice a drop in FC when servicing date nears.

expresso:
i can reach 270km to 290km for half tank.
it is better to use the calculations as follows:

mileage (kms) / no. of litres of petrol filled up
