big trouble with FC
jliow:
--- Quote from: hwlee on December 04, 2009, 09:15:20 AM ---hmm... too technical... not understand as I am not from engineering one :D...
but, FC is measure based on how many KM your ride have been run then divides it with how many liter of petrol you re-fill it back to your car fuel tank, right? :confused1:
So, it is not possible that your ride's FC will be good if your pump it till for extra 2 Liters...correct me if i am wrong. :D
so, even you calculate your FC based on fuel indicator's light up then pump 20 liter of petrol...also got chance your fuel indicator's light sensor spoiled, right? i don't believe those sensor got not fault tolerance :bleh:..

Nah the way pple are filling their tanks sure get good FC. :bleh: ;D

but hor , reali is the way ppl fill up tank meh??u should calculate wats reflected on the pump screen....like erm.....example its shown u top up 30 litres then u check back ur car how far has it travelled......subsequently 4 the nex tank .then u agar agar u should noe ur average consumption.use the amount pump and the mileage in ur car divide it.get the figures then keep it 4 reference 4 the nx few tanks.....should be average out liao lor.....n rememver driving patterns like heavy or light footed drivers.....kinda traffics??light heavy , highway smetink like tat....also mus come into consideration....a few tanks of the same envioroment u should be able 2 averageout....:) not the way u pump lah ...

thats one of the way to bring down std deviation. :p

Agree.. that's exactly what i meant...haha :D... no matter how the way you pump your car, just make sure that the tank is refilled at the same level that you re-filled previously. I don't understand why jliow thinks pump extra few liter will bring UP the FC.. if your car run 300km now and your FC will be nice is you re-filled with 20liter of petrol (around 15km/l) rather than 21liter of petrol(14.29km/l)...not math expert...but don't hesitate to correct me if my logic is wrong. ;)
but how to calculate the traffic style? mostly the time i spent 60 minutes on highway ..but stucked in the causeway is about 30-45 minutes... the about 30-45mins on city drive (where can only drive between 40-70km/h)... nakshire, time to show your math on this... :devil2:

Wau...so technical...make me feel dizzy liao...headache...
Huatster888:
yeah trying to break down everytink into easier calculation 4 the rest......if wana make it more simpler......average out by 3 to 4 full tanks.......drive ur own style heavy or light.....note it down, heavy or light traffices note it down on individual tanks...remember all tanks of fuel drive till red light comes on 4 the reserve....REMEMBER IF U REACH E, DUN STRAY AWAY FROM PETROL KIOSK.i agar red light on u still got 20km or more, dun push ur luck ok.red light on go petrol kiosk straight.pump it up check ur mileage n n how much petrol pumped in....take note.nx tank do the same red light pump , tis time pump same amount of fuel. then i guess easily work out the maths liao....my maths also no good lol paiseh.of course light traffic n a lighter right foot gives u more mielage ahahaha.oh yah , AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS ALSO LAH, miss tis 1 out.the amount of passengers u carry everytime take note of tat 2...i will be easier if mostly car wif u onli.easy 2 monitor, more weight more fuel 2 move.....especialy in heavy traffics
