big trouble with FC
Ying:
Now I just look at the pump meter and speedo meter, if distance is more than 10x of petrol reading then ok. Dont need to compute the decimal point.
Novellus Legends:
I see no point in cheating. I can get 15k/l on a low-side FULL tank (pump till trigger) and 15k/l on a squeeze FULL tank ( +2L after trigger) and consistent too on a cold fill ( pump car during cold weather and petrol tank is cold, +6L after trigger).
All above can span my mileage at 1/4 mark from 450km to 650km. Full tank can go 700km if i want.
Only thing changes for the fact u pump is the mileage u will get will increase gradually. FC remains same.

I normally fill till the pump auto stop then round the liters to the nearest full digit liters.
Got one time a PRC attendant filling my car, which I expect abt 34L then end up with 38L, that tank gave me FC of 14, (somemore that tank i stuck in jam at AYE for almost an hr) so bey chun wan some pple here top up petrol
Our car ave 12.5 - 13.5 si beh ho already, considering 50% city drive 50% HW

Looking at the number of feedbacks on poor FC despite the car being very stock and cultivating best practices shows this is something of a BS
not trying to incite or flame, but I am sure there will be some bros who will stood by my opinion
Ying:
My Latio FC changes with different factors, but I have no problem to get same FC for the same condition. eg. pure City driving is always close to 10, maybe 9+. NSH to Melaka 130~140kmh can get 14+km/l, 90~110kmh can get 16+km/l. So imo my car is normal.
Test your FC for a long HW drive during offpeak if your FC for that segment is less than 13km/l then your car really got problem, else it is just the way you drive and the road condition.
expresso:
for singapore driving, it is difficult to benchmark whether our petrol consumption is high or low unless u really try on HW.
I think for average:
1st 1/4 tank : 120km to 140km
2nd 1/4 tank: 220km to 240km
