AhXiong:
The extension will be back dated to your original purchase date.

Wonder Singapore Nissan got a not? :confused1:
scoobydoo:
quite unlikely... since warranty terms and conditions vary from country to country.
it is common for cars to have 5 years mileage capped warranty in many western countries, but TC only gives 3 years 100,000 km for Nissan cars in Singapore. quite an irony since driving conditions here are very much easier on cars than in places like Australia, where cars are driven on more uneven terrain, exposed to freezing cold winters and blazing hot summers.
lets hope for things to improve for the better :w00t:

Will be good if they extend to Singapore or worldwide Nissan driver.
This also to market their CVT technologies too.
The main concern is the CVT gear box, to replacement cost $15k ( New ).
Just like KIA offering 5 Years unlimited Warranty.
To prove to the market that Korean car is as lasting as Japaness Car.
Extended warranty is a good form of marketing.
But i think very hard la. Local Nissan different from USA.
So we have to wait long long!!!!!!!!!!
If really CVT break down, just scrape it lo.
clarence:
If Tan Chong extends a 10 yr warranty to CVT boxes, they'd likely mark up the selling prices.

I emailed to TCM customer service...and the reply was Nissan Japan have yet to decide whether will extend such warranty in S'pore.....and they will inform customer accordingly....double standard IMO...
I feel it is as good as a NO reply
