would not recommend u to drive up north since yours is new ride less than 1k.
me thinking of driving to genting previously but after much thinking, i gave up.
its better to do some "QC" check within Singapore and "small" parts of JB (2nd link), maybe TUAS to SENAI area..

Me been driving in since day one because I don't believe in paying exorbitant prices for our local petrol. Up till now, my car more than 4 yrs old liao and nothing happened.

Just exercise common sense. Keep low profile, don't attract unnecessary and unwanted attention. Don't go to or park at quiet or deserted places. Keep car in stock conditions, no fierce looking body kits and stickers. If they are determined to steal your car, they will. Steering lock or whatever locks are kachang puteh to professional car thieves. Remember you are driving in a foreign country. Show good road courtesy, the locals will not be shiok if your are too exgressive.

I totally agree.... stay Normal..... I think you will be OK.
During the school holidays- one week can go a two times JB...

Huh, Malacca nia? Aiyo, close one eye lah.

Pay more attention on that stretch of the NSH from Muar/Tangkak to Malacca. Many fatal accidents had been reported to have occurred along that stretch. Take the Ayer Keroh exit, then follow the blue road sign for "Pusat Badar" or "Bandaraya" (both mean the same, that is the city centre).

Good for the car to run in the engine but try to maintain within 100km/l or lower as your car's parts are relatively new.

have a safe trip!!!  :yehyeh:

Merry christmas! and Happy New Year to all Latio members!
