Title: Nissan Recall.
Post by: robtan99 on March 03, 2010, 08:47:30 PM

Anyone affected here?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Three Japanese carmakers have announced recalls even as the country's top automaker Toyota faces close scrutiny over a massive global recall of cars.

Suzuki says it will recall 432,366 vehicles in Japan due to faulty parts related to air conditioning.

The faulty parts have caused at least two fires.

Suzuki will recall its Every and Scrum models made between 2005 and 2009, which are sold under the Mazda brand.

Nissan will recall 76,415 vehicles, while Daihatsu will recall 60,774 vehicles.

Nissan will recall 10 models manufactured between 2007 and 2008, including the Cube, the Tiida, and the March, all due to problems with electric cables connected to the engines.

And Daihatsu will recall four models, including the Atrai and the Hijet, due to an electrical wiring problem with air bags.

All the recalls begin today.

Part of the Nissan recall was due to faulty fuel gauge. I remember some forummers reports their fuel gauge not accurate.

Mine used to be quite accurate, but recently 1 year had not been too accurate. At the end of the day when the light comes out, the amount of fuel to fill up and mileage is the same. That's why never complain.

Maybe our aircon also has inherent 'manufacturer fault' thats why so many ppl complain in here. But not critical so TC close both eyes.

I don't mind if the fuel gauge of my Latio always shows full tank when it is empty.

Can go to JB to top up.

Not my fault. Nissan's fault.  ;D
