Hi

Does that mean we can change to HID and still pass inspection?

If you read between the lines, it mean only factory fitted vehicles are allowed for HID. From 1 jan 2010, they need to have auto level controlled features in order not to 'blind' opposite cars.

With effect from 1 January 2010, LTA will require all newly registered vehicles, except motorcycles, fitted with HID headlamps to be equipped with an auto-levelling feature

Hence it is still non LTA friendly.
