My latio sport basic model fuel consumption seems to be going up the longer I drive.
Now it's only about 8.6 km/l.
How to improve fuel efficiency? I don't think I'm heavy footed, daily route to work always jam - is that the reason?

What is the mileage now and how old is your car?

Frequent maintenance (oil change), tyre size and pressure and driving habits all play a role in fuel consumption.
Traffic jams do result in higher fuel consumption.

yeah i do agree with what clarence say. Do look out for your tyre pressure. Latio is quite sensitive to little bit of things. If everything is right, u shd get a good FC. Check your plugs if u are having high mileage... That time i changed, my FC improved a lot, even though it was at 40k only...
air con temp / fan speed also makes a difference.... pick up rev also ... in jam i dun like to rev the latio... it drinks a lot
