Helping my uncle get his Latio's engine bay cleaned (it's horrendous)
Anywhere to recommend ?
I dont think our engine bay can go through jet sprays like the Nissan Sunny so i think it's down to chemical wipes
Tried Turf Coat before @ $15. Quite good, though i can't comment much cas that was done on my Latio which engine bay was pretty clean already. Their chemicals were good to remove stains on white engine bay body. My uncle's Latio is black so i think stain on engine bay body doesn't matter cas i dont think you can see it

jet spray no problem, coz i see TCM did it for mine during my NPMP servicing, after the cleaning, my sticker(the one with the specification etc) for my struct bar also comes off

u mean they use water spray at engine ?? crazy
-
You sure they did that?
TCM at TP told me it's highly not advisable to do so cas they have cases where some drive across to Malaysia for an engine wash, and having to tow the car back :confused1:

CAN, if you know what to avoid.
saw it online, a malaysian black Latio wash by a popular detailer.
saw it at Sim Ming, a SG black Latio(not mine) wash by a popular workshop here.

hi all, mine was done at lok yang, but it also include changing of battery so they might have remove the battery.
as for the process, i only see from the customer lounge near the glass door, so did not see whether he spray the entire engine or not, come to think of it, could he had use a air-jet gun instead???

nop, saw the guy wash with soap water, spray with soap water to hard to reach area then spay water follow up by air gun.
They focus mainly on the left side, no so much on the battery area.
