I think you are all referring to the OEM spark plug.  Nissan original spark plug is not that cheap. (think its Denso brand)

When i change last year still do not have the OEM.  So change at SOH tyre for the original spark plug for $160 including labour.

Original Denso FXE20HE11 for $110/set. Other spark can be as cheap as $30/set

Then again, say you renew at 100k mark and the new original spark can last another 100k, not many will drive till 200k right?

Proton Boleh..  :D

The cooking oil is use as EO or ATF? They also add a bit of diesel as EO additive to clean the engine.

Can't remembered the cost, but I got it changed at 80k. Condition is really bad, so try to change it as early as possible.
Mine is original Nissan Sparkplug.

Nissan using Denso Iridium.........usually $60 for 4 pcs. Any WS can do the change for you. Can do yrself.............but must be careful of things like cross thread the plugs etc..........

Bro,

Nissan Latio is using special spark plug model and is much more expensive and more difficult to install... If you can get $60 (or even $80) for 4 pieces of Latio spark plugs, a lot of Latio drivers (or even workshops) will queue up to buy from you.... Of course,I roughly know the cost of the Denso Iridium plugs for Latio in the market. From your nick & info (I reckon you are driving Toyota), your car's spark plugs are the common and cheaper ones (unless you are using Nology, Brisk or Pulstar plugs) in the market and simpler to do installation as compared to Nissan Latio...  ;)

Im using original Sparkplug. Yes, it is not cheap at all but it is quite good already for an original plug.

During my 80k servicing, my sparkplug is already burnt out when I saw it. Try to change it before 100k if you can.  :D

I changed it at my friend affiliate workshop... So many things to take out in order to change the sparkplug.
