Title: NPMP Package
Post by: wind79 on August 26, 2010, 05:05:28 PM
Hi bros,

I am reading from Nissan website (http://www.nissan.com.sg/service/plans.cfm?go=npmp2) that the NPMP covers all materials and labour cost.
Does it means it includes replacement for wear and tear items like brakepads, windshield wipers, headlight, foglight and etc?
Anything it doesn't cover?
$1146 seems to be quite a reasonable price if it really covers all parts, dunno if got any hidden charges or not...

It only replace the parts stated in your manual as per the mileage. It does cover the parts you mention, it dosen't cover disc rotor, aircon filter, tyres.

Brake pads only can change once. But they might not change as brake pads can last over 60k km.
Wipers will be changed once a year or 20k km.
No other hidden cost. After you paid that $1k on the first time, no more payment for the next 3 rounds.
Ok, if you need to change the battery, then need to pay.
But then, have to live with their Fasflow oil...

One of the SA told me they can waive charges if u ask for Shogun. However, i have no experience with either Fastflo or Shogun as i bring my own oil.  ;D

Hi fellow lations, I am newbie here. Just bought second hand Latio 1.5A 2007 (with CVT) a while ago, mileage at 54,000.
Next servicing 61,000 according to the record. I am light users, so I might reach 2 yrs limit first instead of 40,000km.
Is it advisable to take NPMP, or better to go normal servicing? Thanks for the advise.

Since your Latio is no longer under warranty, it is cheaper to service outside, at these Nissan specialists:
