Title: voltage stabilizer and grounding a false indication on the battery status??
Post by: Roy on February 08, 2011, 10:57:42 PM
Hi all,

Just to share my exprience today. Was told that my "maintainance free" car battery (11 mths old) needs to be replaced. Before removing it, i noticed the battery indicator reflected green which means it's charged but the mechanic said it was due to the voltage stabilizer when it was removed and put aside for few mins the indicator reflected black which means flat... Any expert out there can advise this? seem like it is giving a false reading....

ur battery shld have 1 year warranty. if u got receipt can claim from manufacturer. voltage stabilizer will help boost ur battery voltage higher.
