as mentioned... is it ok? cos my mech accidentally used cvt gear oil on my 4at .. and he told me its should be ok since its just matter of thickness.. after some search got difference feedback.. anyone gear oil knowledge here to share?
-
u should go back to the workshop to get it change ,cvt fluid are for cvt gearbox not for normal transmission .too thin the fluid may cause the internal clutch lining to wear off and cause shift shock . :nonod:
-
like that also can... so irresponsible workshop... why not try to pump diesel into your petrol tank?
-
damnz all tis mechs out there
they always look for the easy way out to solve probs
my advice is to flush it out as a faulty gearbox replacement cost is no joke
-
Tell your mech, its not ok. Risk of damaging your 4AT. care to share which workshop is this?
-
Irresponsible workshop. Put wrong oil, still tell customer to accept it by saying it's ok.
-
which workshop is this?
might as well put vodka in the radiator and windshield wiper water tank
