Title: Need help on Power steering
Post by: fessm on February 27, 2011, 07:26:03 PM
Hi guys

I'm a newbird here and just got my 2nd hand Latio 1 month plus ago.
This afternoon I went to MSCP near my home to learn parking.

Everything was fine until after in/out of parking lot for more than 10 times, suddenly the steering wheel becomes very heavy.  :confused1:
The feeling is like turning a non-power steering wheel.

After that, I went out and drive on road and the steering becomes normal again

Anybody has any idea?? Is is normal?
I was told Latio dont use power steering pump, its running on electric, is it true?

did you steer while the car is stationary? its true that Latio uses an electric power steering rather than hydraulic

Power cut in your electrical motor due to over heating to protect your motor. once it cools down power steering is restored.
