i am using 5w40 on my 4.5 year old Latio Sedan with 16 inch rims and I am getting around 12 to 13km/litre.

car reaching 70000km soon, will continue to use 5w40 for my car.

decided to go with w30. Think 100k then use w40.

w20 or w30 is fine for newer cars of between 100 - 150k mileage

but if its an above 10 yrs old car better to use w40 for added protection esp if u are those whack and floor acc pedal type of cheongster.  :bleh:

Hi Tower22
Someone just mentioned about themayalab- please google it. They deliver as well. I'm using SS series on 20k, not much of a difference to me. Pretty smooth acceleration for sure. I went to Autoaid for servicing. Cheers

Thanks joerg.

Im using xrev for my 20-30k currently, going to change to amsoil to try out. Saw rev1 going for 49 bucks at autobacs, very tempted to try that first.. :out:

Is engine treatment oil/additives required?
