Title: Clicking sound coming from steering wheel
Post by: bugatti on May 20, 2011, 09:38:45 AM
Hello all, I noticed that there is a soft clicking sound coming from the steering wheel whenever I am turning. Anybody can advise what could be the problem? Thanks.

Is your signal light turn on?

this is normal as its linked to the auto signal cancellation. unless you hear a tok tok sound, then its the steering coupling

What I mean is when you make a right turn, usually you will give a right turn signal, and you will hear a click sound, this should be normal as mentioned by kspchew, unless it is a tok tok sound. then is related to steering coupling.

Hi, thanks for the comments. Funny thing is that the clicking sound comes up when I did not use the signal light. Hopefully the tick tick sound does not become a tok tok sound.
