Title: 50 or 55 profile tire for 16" rim

Hi
Time to change tire (205/50/16),
checking price and was advise to
stick to same size.
Would like to take 205/55/16,
but was told this size will 'rub'
as this is a bit bigger.
Anyone using 205/55/16 tire pls advise.

I'm using 205/55/16, rim offset 37. So far no problem. Full load behind ok as well. However pick slightly more sluggish but will get used to it over time.

55 profile will hv more comfortable ride than 50 . i'm on 215/45/R17 sofar so good. sluggish pickup due to wider tyre. but much stable ride.

Me on 215/45/R17 too, bumpy ride sometimes too.

great! i'm wondering whether to change from 205/50 R16 to 205/55 R16 so that i can run my speedo nearer to GPS speed.
looks like i can go ahead liow  :w00t:
