maybe you can try outside workshop to get a quote.

mine since changed a few years back during warranty, so far problem never occur again.

to add on, the mechanic at TCM did tell me before that this steering coupling problem will not affect the car performance or safety, just annoyed at the noise.

Only TCM can do it. Autosavers cannot

I have this problem... u need to change the gasket in the front brake assembly .. (brake bracket kit). replace it soon as sometime even dring at high speed the wheels vibrate. it is dangerous. Cost less than $200 with labour.

Thanks. TC lubricated the steering joint instead. Didn't solve the problem. Darn.

Which service centre did you go to where they gave you this diagnosis?

You should let the mechanc take the wheel instead. I let the SA took the wheel, and he proposed lubrication.
Didn't work.

Replace at TC. under warranty.
But think it will come back again.
Told the SA, he say need to get a tech to test drive with me, I told him don't need test drive. it is a known issues.
So at the end they change it for me.

This rounnd not the couping is the power streeling motor & 1 more part just bellow the wheel. Try to
go buck & test drive with them if not it will be too costly after warrenty.

I notice a "thud thud" sound on the front left side of my car when I turn towards right. Sound only visible when I turning up in MSCP. Is that the sound of the steering coupling? does that mean I have to change it?

Just got Bro Kelvin to check for me the sound coming from the front left side. Apparently, the mechanics at TCM did not grease a part of the left disc brake when they replaced the brake pads during the last servicing. Now the sound is gone. Thumbs up for Bro Kelvin!!  :yehyeh: :yehyeh:
