Hi people,
I kenna big rock on road and my current stock 15 inch Rim is damaged!
I need to change the rim and will be "upgrading" to a 16 inch Rim.
May I know what is the best Specs for a 16 Inch on Latio sport? 215/50?
Comfort and FC is main criteria. Many thanks again. :)

Thanks for the info.
Is there any good place which offers good rates for Rims? I changed my tyres previously at Shell Autoserv. Is that a good place? I was happy with the service.
Not sure whether there are better places with better prices? Any recommendations? :)

cheaper places definitely a few,
1) soh bros, amk ave 10
cheap, but if you want specific tyres/rims, might have to call and order first.
my most recent tyres are changed there.
2) poh heng, amk ave 10
definitely cheap, but service quite challenging as they are so packed with customers.
my personnal experience is that they over-inflat one of my tyre after i changed there.
3) AL tyres, circuit road, one of the forum sponsor.
i got good price for my rims there, services good too, recommended.

I was reading the forum and there are many ppl recommending Hankook Tyres. Apparently ppl change @ Toh Guan?
Is that place good? Price ok?

Hi Folks, i finally changed my rim and tire! .. after 47K on my stock J15 185/65/15. Upgraded to 16" with Continental Premium Contact 2 205/55/16. Went shopping for the past 2 weeks. Conclusion is not a lot of nice rims available for 16" 4x114.3 pcd.
Was given the warning by the ws that this profile may hit my fender if its full load. However, decided to still go with it as i do not want to see that gap getting any larger. Once the new wheels are on, the gap is obviously smaller (although its just 1cm). The wheels are now thicker by 3cm, looks a little protruding, hopefully, will not splash too much water around my doors. Asthetically more pleasing now
The new tire is good, better than my stock j15. Quieter and more comfortable, althought i was hoping it will be much more. The difference in quietness can better be felt on concrete road or the brick roads in the carparks. The car is more stable with sharp turn in the carpark and during parking, perhaps, due to the thicker tire? Handling is better. Can drive down round entrance to ECP at Xilin (CBP) at about 70. Can handle the stretch of bends long ECP near MBS more comfortably and faster now. Breaking on wet dry better much better now. Still looking for pool of water to run on. I can almost float with my old bald J15. :w00t:
Pick up is still okay. a very little tad slower - insignificant ba. FC? - dont know yet. Need to fill up another tank to have a more accurate reading. ::)
Oh, surprisingly the "tong tong" sound which my steering wheel makes some time during sharp turn in carpark is lesser wo. :D
