ok i jus did my servicing last sat at autobacs loyang.. they r using castrol engine oil fully synthetic oil 5w40. ($98) + oil filter ($8) which i find it rather cheap.
after servicing, mechanic advised mi to change my gear box fluid as every 30k km nd to change. He says beta for gear box. Damage $205. Wah siong.. din expect to change so many things. Bros, ever encounter they advised to change abt the gear box fluid?

yours is cvt or 4at?
and yes, it is advisable to change gearbox fluid, only use original nissan NS2 if cvt, 4AT i not sure.

TCM used to recommend, every 60,000km, now its 100,000km.  :nonod:
i changed cvt fluid at $120.

Mine is the cvt one. Ya i did heard the mechanic saying the ns2 thing. My milleage only 56k only n he already recommended mi to change liao. Too early?

for cvt, think better stick to ns2. 4AT wise, i have tried Redline D4 fully syn ATF. no problem so far.
