Hi,
Had been experiencing slight juddering when braking at speeds above 110km/h on my way up north.
Have been told of the following options to solve the problem:
1) Change new disc (OEM)
2) Change after market
3) Skim the discs
Any advice on which is the better option? My ride is currently 6.5yrs @ 145k mileage. Dun think i'm able to change ride looking at the current COE prices.
Thanks

I think you should pay a visit to Runstop - expert in brake system to have a look at your brake. Better travel safe...especially NS highway.

It may not be the rotor, can be caliper piston jam also. Better check early.

I heard from mechanics that there is this piece of rubber gasket in our brake caliper, that will break apart due to prolong usage and wear and tear. I changed mine, because he said if dont change, may cause piston jam and warp the rotors. In the end have to change whole disc which i think bohua.
Just sharing info :)

How much is the gasket ? Will mechcanic change it during changing of brake pads ?
