Title: Air con totally not cold help !!!!
Post by: MrHo on April 13, 2013, 09:25:50 AM: Since last month there is a hissing sound coming out from the aircon whenever i on it . Now the aircon is totally not cold as if only the fan is on . Can anybody help me ??

hi bro,no gas meaning there's a leak.hissing noise heard is when gas lever is running low.leak can be external or internal. :zipped:

I just came back from AMK Autopoint and changed my cooling coil with air con filter... met another Nissan Forum user there as well... :smile:

the replacing of cooling coil > is done on the spot? or must order ?

think my turn to change soon...air con got some "high pitch" sound or "humming" sound liaoo.....

no need order, just make appointment or drive down to workshop, normally they have ex-stocks.

if the sound you mention is hissing sound, meaning like not enough aircon gas and aircon not cold as before, the mechanic will check for leaks in your cooling coil and elsewhere in your engine bay in the aircon system.
